By the grace of Almighty God the Assembly Youth Camp was started in the year 1987. By the initiatives of few Christian Brethren Assemblies in Chennai the first camp was held between 27th – 31st December 1987. For the past eleven years it has been a co-ordinated effort of both the Adambakkam and Madipakkam Christian Assemblies. Praise be to God for His Grace and favour through all these years.
To see young believers stand for the Lord in this challenging world.
Bring young men/women to the saving knowledge of Christ.
Awareness of the challenges faced by Christians.
To train them to be good examples in obedience to the Word of God.
To teach them good habits and manners at home, in church, institutions and society at large.
To counsel, correct and rectify their habits and manners wherever necessary.
To train the saved ones to reach the unsaved.
Some of the activities of the camp includes Worship & Devotions, Singing sessions (Tamil & English), Messages, Group Discussions, Games (indoor & outdoor), Bible quiz, Case study, Missionary challenge (video or presentation) and Talent Time.
